I've been fascinated by the Great Wall since childhood and never thought that I would be able to paint it myself. As I sketched it, I felt at one with the generations people who walked the wall before me, not least the builders and warriors old.

I am drawn to the Peak Tram because it has been running for many years. So I wanted to sketch this image because it captures the old and new Hong Kong with the Peak Tram as a timele link.

This sketch sums up, for me, the relaxation a weekend junk trip away from work and the busy city, with the added bonus good company and a seafood feast.
